Graphic design for the cover of the Debatte session of the progressive German newspaper Der Freitag. LIFE-WORK-BALANCE presents “an almost real expert discussion on the challenges of our present and future in the language of our time” by Velten Schäfer & Wiard Raveling.

Der Freitag was first published on the historic date of November 9, 1990, one year after the fall of the Berlin Wall, as a merger of the West German Volkszeitung and the East German Sonntag : an East-West fusion on equal terms and with curiosity about the other’s perspective. As “The East-West weekly newspaper”, the Friday is the only medium with this focus to cover the formative years of reunified Germany.
